Nexus Mods is rolling out an update - and this time, it's for something so staggeringly unpopular that subverting it has become a bit of a meme.
You know it, you hate it, it's ID verification for adult content! That's right - where once you could just go to a website, get an account, and change its permissions to suit your taste, the UK government has decided it's time for a change of pace.
You'll need to prove your age with a government ID to access adult content on Nexus Mods. Are there any risks to giving out your ID on the internet? Nexus Mods (or more specifically, the service Nexus Mods is using to comply with UK law) pinky-promises that there's none.
