Blizzard has teased the next crossover event coming to Overwatch 2 in its next season, and you’ll never see it coming.
The launch trailer for Overwatch 2 Season 18 has been released, giving players a look at what they can expect to see.
Most of the new stuff is directed at the Stadium mode, bringing three new heroes when the season starts on August 26, with another coming later on.
The new season will also add the new support hero Wuyang, after he was playable in a trial phase earlier this week, in addition to summer-themed cosmetics in the new battle pass.
However, the most surprising reveal is a tease for the game’s next crossover event with Persona 5.
Summer Cosmetics, Stadium Updates, And A New Collab
Season 18 will be bringing back Overwatch’s mostly-annual Summer Games event, with first-person and third-person versions of Lucio Ball along with Winston Volleyball, and will be running a bit later than usual, from September 2 to 15.
Summer-themed cosmetics are also returning with the new battle pass, including new additions Lily Roadhog and Poolside Wuyang.
