On the against side of the argument, a lot of fans upset with the news appear to have taken to Final Fantasy 14's Steam page to voice their complaints. Shortly after it was announced that Mare Synchronos would be shut down, Final Fantasy 14 was promptly review-bombed on Steam, with over 400 negative reviews having been submitted over the past 48 hours.
