Despite some of the original cast coming in to record new lines, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has a bizarre way of remixing certain bits of dialogue.

We've seen a lot of different types of remakes over the past few years, from reimaginings like Final Fantasy 7 Remake and shine-ups like Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster to rebuilt games like Resident Evil 4. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is clearly on the more traditional side of things, and keeps much of the original game's content.

The biggest example of this is that Delta uses the voice recordings from the original release of Snake Eater instead of having the cast re-record everything. That being said, it was confirmed some time ago that multiple actors did come back and record new dialogue, making it all the stranger how the remake handles certain moments.

As pointed out by Redditor goatbloke on the Metal Gear Solid subreddit, Delta has a bizarre moment early on in the game during a radio call with Major Tom (or Zero, if you prefer).
