You Can Completely Fail Missions If You Play Lego Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight On The Highest Difficulty

TT Games is taking some big swings with Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight after 30 years of following the manual by the letter. But it's not just Arkham-inspired combat, stealth segments, and a tighter roster that sets it apart—there are also three new difficulty options, and the hardest marks a series first.

Classic and Caped Crusader are your standard Lego fare, but Dark Knight introduces a limited lives system. That means if you die too much, you will fail the mission and have to start over.

Just don't expect the Arkham death scenes.

Typically, in these games, dying doesn't matter. Your studs get scattered about, but you can just pick them back up and continue with the level. A more traditional lives system, akin to classic platformers, should offer the challenge that many found sorely lacking in The Skywalker Saga. But TT Games has made some concessions to help you avoid wasting those precious few lives.
