Midnight releases for video games used to be commonplace, but the continued popularization of buying games digitally has mostly made them a thing of the past. GameStop has decided to fight back by trying to revive the midnight release for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and if you attend, you'll get a bonus for being a part of something gaming has mostly left behind.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A's GameStop store page has been updated to include details about the midnight launch. Under the bonus offer section, you'll find everything you need to know if you want to be a part of the event and cash in on the bonus. The bonus is a tote bag, and you will need a pre-ordered copy of the game waiting for you at GameStop if you want one on the night.
The tote bag is double-sided with Legends: Z-A's cover art on one side, and the Pokemon TCG's Mega Evolution key art on the other. Mega Evolution returns to the games in Pokemon Legends: Z-A and that has sent a ripple effect through all of Pokemon. The real TCG, Pokemon TCG Pocket, there are even new Mega Evolution plushes.
