While the Battlefield 6 beta had a few issues, the sheer number of people that took part in both tests just showed how popular the game already is. By contrast, the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 trailer was widely panned for diverging too far from a military shooter, as well as for the fact that players will be able to transfer over their cosmetics from Black Ops 6.
One thing is clear, Battlefield 6 players do not want the game to follow in Call of Duty's footsteps, especially with regard to bunny-hopping movement systems and silly cosmetics. Much to the fanbase's delight, Dice nerfed some of the movement systems from the beta, to bring it more in line with previous Battlefield titles. As for the cosmetics, an alleged leak has revealed the first set we'll be getting, and they're pretty grounded.
While the devs have previously hinted that Battlefield 6 will not have silly skins or camo, fans weren't going to be convinced until they saw them for themselves.
