The next job set to arrive in Final Fantasy 14 has a release window, but fans are going to be waiting a while before they can use the power of the Beastmaster in battle.
The Beastmaster job debuted in Final Fantasy 5 and has appeared sporadically throughout the series. Usually, the Beastmaster has the ability to exert control over monsters or utilizes the power of animals to fight enemies.
A Final Fantasy 14 equivalent of the Beastmaster was promised when the Dawntrail expansion was first promoted, but the developers confirmed it would arrive in a future update. In an interview at Gamescom 2025, Final Fantasy 14 Director Naoki Yoshida told PCGamesN when the Beastmaster job will arrive in the game.
The Beastmaster Is Coming To Final Fantasy 14 In Patch 7.5
Yoshida confirmed that the Beastmaster limited job will arrive in Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.5, alongside a new Ultimate raid. The problem is that Final Fantasy 14’s most recent patch is 7.3, which means the Beastmaster is still two updates away. It can take around 4-5 months for patches to launch, which means Beastmaster likely won’t be available until 2026.
