Another game has been delayed to avoid launching near Hollow Knight: Silksong, and this time, it’s one of DualShocker’s most despised titles of the year, with Baby Steps now launching later in September.
At the start of 2025, everyone assumed that Grand Theft Auto 6 would force tons of games to be delayed to avoid its launch. In a shock move, Rockstar pushed it back to 2026. Developers couldn’t rest easy, however, as Team Cherry revealed that Hollow Knight: Silksong is launching on September 4, 2025, causing problems for the other games launching around that time.
A few games have already been delayed due to Hollow Knight: Silksong, with the developers cheerily admitting to wanting to avoid Hornet’s adventure. The latest title to be pushed back is Baby Steps, with a trailer on the Devolver Digital YouTube channel showing its protagonist navigating a structure shaped like Hornet, ending with a new release date: September 23, 2025.
