The reveal that Helldivers 2 is coming to Xbox Series X|S was, predictably, met with disdain by some. PS5 players started campaigns to ruin the game for new arrivals on Xbox. Now it's release day, those saboteurs are nowhere to be seen, as people who have been playing Helldivers 2 since launch just want their potential new teammates to get to grips with and start enjoying the game as soon as possible.
Today is the big day, and if you're an Xbox player who's been dying to give Helldivers 2 a try, now you can. There doesn't seem to be any risk of running into the players who threatened to drive you away on launch day either, as, if the Xbox subreddit is anything to go by, PS5 players just want you all to feel welcome and to help you get acclimatised to what Helldivers 2 is all about.
