The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is Owlcat Games' most ambitious title yet - a third-person sci-fi RPG based on the beloved television series, and undoubtedly a technical step-up from the studio's past titles.
At Gamescom, I had the opportunity to see Osiris Reborn in a hands-off preview conducted by creative director Alexander Mishulin and game design director Leonid Rastorguev. The pair showed me an early game mission aboard the space station of a paramilitary force.

I was intrigued to see James Holden's broadcast message from Season One, Episode Two playing on the screens within the space station. As we saw in the show, Holden has implicated Mars in an attack on his ship, the Canterbury, causing a galaxy-wide controversy.
Mishulin was quick to chime in, saying the events of Osiris Reborn begin shortly after Holden's broadcast. While not immediately after, the video is still being constantly circulated, and people continue to discuss the implications of Holden's accusations.
