It's no secret that Konami is working on a movie sequel to the first Silent Hill movie that was released almost 20 years ago. Not only that, but Konami even revealed a target release date, and it's in the first month of 2026.
Konami, alongside Davis Films, Cineverse, and Bloody Disgusting, has released our first-ever look at the horror film!
While this is classified as a teaser, there are a lot of elements revealed, such as the setting, the monsters the film's protagonist will face, and more.
Return to Silent Hill Movie Teaser Shows The Horror To Come
Directed by Christophe Gans, who helmed the first Silent Hill movie in 2006, the teaser shows us our first look at protagonist James Sunderland, played by Jeremy Irvine (Leopardi&Co).
The teaser then cuts to shots of a burning building, and the monsters -- lots of them! We even get to see Pyramid Head make an appearance, though that one is expected, given that the character is the unofficial mascot of the franchise.
While the vibe looks spooky enough, the CGI needs work. The fire effects, even the fog, do not look that realistic at all. Of course, there's a long time...
