Sandfall Interactive's debut title, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, is one of the biggest games of the year. Even with Silksong on the horizon, I'd still wager it's the favorite to win a majority of Game of the Year awards this season.
While Sandfall has teased additional content for the game in the past, they've never been definitive about their future plans. Jennifer Svedberg-Yen, lead writer for the game, said in April that the team is still trying to process they're overwhelming success.
Sandfall COO François Meurisse also hinted that the team already has ideas on what they're looking to tackle next.
Here we are, four months later, and Sandfall is talking about some more concrete plans for the future of not just Expedition 33, but Clair Obscur as well.
Sandfall Interactive Says That This Is Not The End Of The Clair Obscur Franchise
In an interview with Mr. MattyPlays on YouTube, Expedition 33 creative director Guillaume Broche was asked about whether or not the team feels like Clair Obscur can become a franchise. Based on Broche's answer, I'd say that's a resounding yes.
