We're in the endgame, folks.
Fresh off getting the chance to play it at Gamescom 2025, Hollow Knight: Silksong is launching on September 4th for PC and consoles, and will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
The anticipation is so real that several other indie games are now delaying their releases for the sole purpose of avoiding SIlksong's launch window. Among others, Aeterna Lucis is scheduled for release in 2026, while Demonschool will be available this November.
Wouldn't it then be ironic if Silksong's physical edition were to see a delay due to another highly anticipated video game release? I'm not saying that's going to happen, but there's a non-zero chance.
