Bloober Team took the horror gaming world by storm last year with their remake of the classic Konami thriller, Silent Hill 2. The success of that title has led to the announcement that they intend to remake the first game as well, but they've also got other fare en route, like Cronos: New Dawn - which releases next week, in fact.
There's also a reverence at work here toward the golden age of Nintendo's forays into horror, and it might lead to exciting prospects for Bloober Team's own potential output on the nascent Nintendo Switch 2 console in the years to come.
The folks at The Game Business recently spoke with Bloober Team's CEO, Piotr Babieno, who touched upon that admiration for Nintendo while tantalizingly suggesting that his studio has real interest in bringing back the era when the House of Mario was a contender for harboring the very best spook-inducing games in the world.
