Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra Finally Has A Release Date, And It's Sooner Than You Think

Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra has finally been given an official release date, and it's actually launching a lot sooner than you might expect.

Over the past few years, Dragon Ball fans have been eating good when it comes to video games. Not only did we get the long-awaited fourth Budokai Tenkaichi game with Sparking Zero, but we've also had endless updates to Kakarot, Xenoverse 2, and even Breakers, if you're into that kind of thing.

As much as I love Sparking Zero, the most interesting game in the pipeline has to be Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra, which was originally known as Project Multi. Squadra takes the world of Dragon Ball and turns it into a MOBA like League of Legends or Pokemon Unite. It's been in the works for a while, but we finally know when exactly it's landing.

Earlier today, the official Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra Twitter account shared the game's cinematic intro, which is about what you'd expect from the opening to a Dragon Ball game (complimentary). Beyond showing off more of Squadra's awesome visuals, the trailer also ended with the long-awaited reveal of its release date - September 9.
