Pokemon has revealed another Mega Evolution that will make its video game debut in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Mega Hawlucha. I'd say the fighting-type has received the warmest reception of the three new Mega Evolution designs so far. Or at least I would have had I not seen the focus on the bird Pokemon's crotch feathers and the bizarre debate that has stemmed from it.
Although Hawlucha's size doesn't change much when it Mega Evolves, like other Pokemon - Mega Victreebel is almost 15-feet tall - its appearance is quite a bit different. Mega Evolving gives Hawlucha a new mask, a big collar that makes its long flowing feathers look like a cape, and what I didn't notice until it was pointed out to me, and now I can never unsee, a generous new crop of feathers in its crotch area.
It was Sea_Honey_2747's post on the Pokemon subreddit that first alerted me to Mega Hawlucha's unfortunate feather placement, so a big old gold star to them, I guess. The feathers are between the Pokemon's legs and shaped like a certain appendage. Once you've seen it, you're going to have a hard time forgetting it, so sorry, but...
