Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is officially out, and, well, let's just say that the performance is rather subpar. It's bad enough that you might be better off playing the game on a standard PlayStation 5 console than Sony's shiny enhanced PS5 Pro. Those issues certainly don't help Konami's plans to remake other Metal Gear Solid titles, provided Delta: Snake Eater is a success.
For what it's worth, the newly released title is also a mess on PC, with players lamenting that it should've been delayed until it was fit for release. Except, in the case of PC, the modding community has decided to step in and save the game, dropping several optimization-based additions to make the game right as rain.
They also managed to add a playable Hideo Kojima, but that's beside the point.
As first spotted by Eurogamer, there is no shortage of mods that seek to optimize and enhance the base Delta: Snake Eater experience, and make it more like a game fit for release.
