Rocket League will be teaming up with X Games for a crossover event.

X Games Aspen will be taking place this month, and Rocket League will be celebrating with a crossover event. Starting on January 21st, Rocket League will be collaborating with X Games. The event will feature new in-game items, as well as an RLCS X event featuring special Fan Rewards. On the 21st, X Games-inspired items will land in the Item Shop. The X Games tab will be available in the Item Shop on January 21st, and will last until January 24th. The tab will show up in the shop again on January 28th, and will stay there until January 31st.

The RLCS X Games: North American Regional will also be held during this event. This official tournament will be a part of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS), and will feature the best teams in North America. The winning team will earn their own RLCS X Games medals. The tournament will be held over two weekends: January 23-24, and January 30-31. The tournament can be viewed on the ESPN App and live on Twitch and YouTube starting at 10 a.m. PST. Those who tune in will have the chance at receiving the Knuckle Huck Player Banner, as well as the X-Boards and X-Skis Toppers.

Rocket League began its second Season last month. The Season's Rocket Pass is loaded with plenty of music-themed items that players can unlock during the Season, all while the game's soundtrack grows to feature new music. The Season also brought a new customization option: Player Anthems. When players score, make an epic save, or earn MVP, their customizable Player Anthem will begin playing, and will continue until someone else performs a feat to disrupt it. A new arena was also added. Entitled Neon Fields, this arena features a light show that pulsates with the music being played.

Rocket League is free-to-play on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch.

I have been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I am a huge fan of JRPGs, though I also enjoy fighters. I have been writing about video games for a few years now. If it has a great story, I am sure that I will dig it.
