We are just four days away from the highly-anticipated release of Hollow Knight: Silksong on September 4. As if the hype wasn't already massive, rumors of the game costing just $20 began to circulate, sending players into a frenzy over its rather cheap cost.

Now, Team Cherry has come out in front of those rumors to confirm that, yes, Silksong will be that cheap on release. So, no, you weren't dreaming about an extremely affordable title.

Specifically, the game will come in at $19.99 or €19.99, with the Japanese version costing ¥2300, likely due to the Yen's weak status. Elsewhere, the developers confirmed how early players can begin playing Silksong, so if you were planning on feeling "sick" on Sept. 4, you now have a dedicated time slot, depending on your region.

Originally, the price of $20 leaked on Friday, after GameStop inadvertently began advertising the Switch version of the game, showcasing a title that was a mere $5 more than its predecessor, nearly a decade later.
