Ubisoft Says Rayman Franchise Is In 'Good Hands,' But Don't Expect Anything Soon

While Rayman was once considered to be Ubisoft's unofficial mascot, the character has been missing in action for the past few years.

That's changing, as Ubisoft confirmed they are working on the future of the franchise. However, don't expect anything tangible in terms of news anytime soon.

Ubisoft Remembers Rayman As Social Media Account Comes Back To Life

Ubisoft has remembered the Rayman X (formerly Twitter) account exists, as the publisher has posted an update, which is the first one we've seen in over four years! The account activation comes as Rayman turns 30 years old today.

The video features Brand Producer Loic Gounon, as they confirm a new project is in the works, stating, "As we said in the past, a very talented team at Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan are currently working together on the future of Rayman. Don't expect news from us too soon, but rest assured Rayman is in good hands."

Hopefully, that doesn't mean we'll have another four years of radio silence before anything crops up again.
