Today, NetEase announced that Marvel Rivals' fourth season will launch next week on September 12. While that, in itself, is good news for the player base, there's more good news, and it involves last-gen players.
NetEase has also confirmed that Marvel Rivals will also be available on last-gen on that day, though just for Sony's PS4.
While the PS4 and Xbox One are relatively similar systems in terms of hardware, NetEase didn't bother to develop an Xbox version, which is baffling, to be honest.

Season 4 of Marvel Rivals kicks off on September 12, and this brings a new Vanguard hero in Angela! The trailer also reveals that the second hero dropping within the season is the Man Without Fear, Daredevil!
Alongside the new heroes, there's also a new map, new mode, and a bunch of quality-of-life features too.
Players can expect NetEase to streamline the game's UX (user experience) as well, with Conquest, Doom Match, Conquest (Annihilation), Free Fight, Giant-Size Brain Blast, and Clone Rumble all accessible from a single Arcade Mode hub.
