Starting next week, Dune: Awakening will not only have a free weekend without content restrictions, but it will also be discounted for the first time ever.
This means that if you like what you try, you'll be able to get it at a significantly lower price.
Dune: Awakening's Free Trial Has No Content Restrictions
The free trial will run from September 11–15, and will open the vast deserts of Arrakis to all players who have a capable PC to run Dune: Awakening.
According to Funcom, there will be "zero restrictions on content during this Free Weekend, which also includes the big Chapter 2 content update coming on September 9." Anyone who plays during the free trial weekend, even those who already own the game, will receive the Arrakis Rising decoration, which is a mural for your base.
