If You Rush, It'll Still Take 30 Hours To Complete Hollow Knight: Silksong

Hollow Knight: Silksong has 52 achievements and most of them are completely normal. One... well, it looks normal at first, but starts to stick out if you take a closer look.

The "Speed Completion" achievement simply reads: "Achieve 100% game completion and finish the game in under 30 hours."

It is, therefore, a major accomplishment if you can finish everything the game has to offer in 30 hours or less. If you tackle the game at a frantic pace, following guides to the letter and gain functional precognition of where you need to be at any given time, you'll finish somewhere in the ballpark of 20-30 hours.

But the game just came out. And fun fact: you do not have precognition. Probably, you're not rushing through the game as fast as possible, either. Maybe you stop to take in the sights at some point, or hang out a little longer with a few NPCs. You will not finish Silksong in 30 hours.

PCGamer spotted this little oddity, and made some key comparisons between Silksong and it's predecessor. The original Hollow Knight also has a 'speed completion' achievement. You get it for finishing the whole game in under... 20 hours....
