Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Reviews Are In, And It's Neck And Neck With The Best Sonic Racing Game

It's official, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds slaps. That's at least according to the majority of critics, as the Blue Blur's latest racing game currently sits at a Metacritic score of 83.

Many critics regard this as the best Sonic racing game to date, and the score puts it just above Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, which has a score of 82. It's even closer to Mario Kart's crown than some would expect, as it's just three points shy of sharing the spotlight with Mario Kart World.

In my review, I gave Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds a score of 4.5/5. I adored the racing mechanics and the titular CrossWorld feature, finding the game to be the perfect blend of easy to play, hard to master. My only real issue is that it could have done with some more features, perhaps a story mode.
