Photos of a supposed Japanese promotional physical copy for Metroid Prime 4 are circulating on Reddit and Facebook right now, and they tease a few interesting details that have yet to be shared by Nintendo.

According to a rough translation of the Japanese kanji by u/aRandom_Encounter, the back of the box reveals that Samus has been "transported across space and time" and "must [carve a] path with her newfound powers in order to return to her original world." Those newfound powers are her psychic abilities, which she was granted "to honor the wishes of the people of this planet".
The official descriptions from Nintendo make no such mention of time, describing Viewros simply as "An unknown planet", which Samus "suddenly finds herself transported to". Her psychic abilities, meanwhile, are only said to be acquired "while exploring the planet", with no reference to its people or their wishes.
The leak also includes two new images from the game.
If this Japanese promo is to be believed, then it looks like Nintendo is keeping tight-lipped about what's really going on in Metroid Prime 4.
