Capcom has plenty of unloved, forgotten children that it's leaving in the cold at the moment (I miss Devil May Cry), but arguably the most criminally abused, yet iconic franchise in its locker is Mega Man. Our favorite blue bomber hasn't had a new game in quite some time, and even though I'm sure Mega Man fans are begging for that to change, it doesn't look likely.
If it wasn't for the occasional merch drop, you wouldn't be blamed for thinking Capcom had forgotten about Mega Man completely, but it seems as though a very unlikely game has given fans of the series a sliver of hope — Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
With Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds launching next week, and reviews going live earlier today, hype for the game has been steadily growing. For some (such as Reddit user Wrong-Minute-1319), the long-awaited release date has already come, as it appears some stores may have broken street dates and physical copies are making their way into the hands of fans. It's because of this that we know Mega Man will be included as part of the game's Season Pass.
