Void Interactive Fires Ready Or Not Community Manager Over Charlie Kirk Comments

Ready or Not developer Void Interactive has parted ways with community manager Kaminsky due to their comments on the recent Charlie Kirk assassination.

When asked on the game's Discord server to filter "Charlie, Kirk, Charlie [Kirk]", Kaminsky responded, "Funny you mention that because me and my roomate [sic] are literally just talking about him getting shot. All I have to say is: Nothing of value was lost".

A moderator replied, "Yeahh but that's not our official position".

The comment was soon shared across the game's subreddit and X, with calls from the community for Void Interactive to take action. On Steam, players even attempted to make their voice heard by flooding the game with negative reviews, stating that they refuse to "support any of [Void's] future endeavours until there is an apology and their community manager is fired".

With pressure mounting, Void Interactive responded accordingly: "We are aware of comments made by our community manager about a recent tragic event. These statements do not reflect our values or represent our company.
