I've never really understood the ludicrously expensive Overwatch 2 bundles—or who buys them. Outside of Stadium, you can't see your character, so you're splashing out an ungodly amount of money for feet cosmetics and a few seconds of bragging at the end of a match.
But the Persona 5 collab is one of the most egregious yet. If you want the full collection, it costs 6,900 coins, i.e. $60. For that price, you could buy Persona 5 Royal itself. Though if you're eyeing up a collab like this, I'm gonna assume that you're a big Persona fan and already own the game. So, here's a list of some great games that you could buy instead:
It doesn't get much better when you look at the individual skin prices, either. They each sell for 2,800 coins, which is at least $30, because there is no 2,800 coin bundle. You either have to buy 4,000 coins for $39.99, or the 1,000 and 2,000 coin bundles for $29.98.
To put that into perspective, Persona 5 Royal regularly goes on sale, and right now, is just $20.99 on PS5—less than half the price of the full bundle, and nearly $10 cheaper than a single...
