Poor Silver. He has a sick design, a great backstory, and was once up there with Sonic and Shadow to represent the Sonic series... but no one really cared. Having been introduced in the ill-fated Sonic '06, Sonic Team didn't really know what to do with him. He could have been the next Shadow, but now, he's more underutilised than Metal Sonic when you look at Sonic's rivals.
Now, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds could be about to change that. At long last, Silver is getting some characterisation, and fans really like what they see. And for the fans who had actually stuck with him this entire time, it's great news - he's no longer the fanbase's laughing stock.
In CrossWorlds, every character has unique dialogue with one another when paired up as rivals. This means that every character on the roster needs a fair amount of dialogue - and in some cases, the most dialogue they've had in years.
