2025 has been a big year for Xbox Game Pass, and people have noticed.
Just take a look at some of the marquee games that have been released on Microsoft’s subscription service this year:
Not only are four out of those five titles developed outside the Xbox Games Studios umbrella, but they were all day-one releases.
There’s also the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on Game Pass when the game launches on November 14th.
It turns out that three of these games have something in common: they're the highest-rated games of the year, according to Metacritic. Also, before you say something: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom don't count; they're the Switch 2 versions of games that came out in years prior.
