Even With A New Fortnite Experience, Daft Punk Insists It's Not Getting Back Together

After past collaborations with artists like Snoop Dogg, Travis Scott and Marshmello, the ever popular live-service battle royale Fortnite is setting its sights on a new collaboration with Daft Punk.

The collab, which is set to kick off on September 27, is being described as an "experience" that will let players "soar through their random access memories to a transformative dance floor destination." According to Variety, players will be able to remix Daft Punk's music tracks, create music mashups, make a Lego music video and visit a virtual dance floor.

All that said, despite the massive crossover, both Daft Punk and Fortnite really want you to know that they're still not getting back together.

As first spotted by Eurogamer, as part of the blog post revealing the upcoming crossover, Epic Games made sure to explicitly highlight that, "The band may be no longer, but their music lives on in Fortnite."

The blog post has since been removed and replaced by a cheeky teaser for the collaboration, with an error code titled "092725," AKA the start date of the event, along with a tagline of "Re-Accessing Memories."
