Turns Out We Might All Be Playing The Elder Scrolls 6 Sooner Than We Thought According To A New Leak

It has been more than nine years since Bethesda revealed it had started working on The Elder Scrolls 6, and last we heard, it was suggested we'd be lucky to be playing it this decade. An update on how development is going has provided a far more positive spin on the situation, suggesting with some confidence that Bethesda's next epic could be here before the end of 2027.

That's according to the usually quite reliable leaker, eXtas1s. They claimed in a new video that Xbox and Bethesda are targeting a late 2027 release window for the next Elder Scrolls game. Studios targeting a release window for a game of this size usually means that target will be missed. However, eXtas1s notes that most involved are pretty confident that the end of 2027 is a realistic target that they might actually be able to hit.

While eXtas1s isn't able to provide internal evidence further confirming a 2027 release for the next installment in the Elder Scrolls series, apparently, all evidence points to that being the case.
