You Can Get More Runepowder Barrels In Baldur's Gate 3, But You'll Have To Spare Wulbren

There are countless ways to play Baldur's Gate 3. Picking between various origin characters, choosing different classes, making different decisions, and even aligning yourself as an evil character gives the game a high replay value. If you're done with all of those, you can try different tactics too, like barrelmancy.

It's not really a tactic, but barrelmancy is the word the community uses for blowing enemies up with a barrel. While smokepowder barrels are pretty common, and give you quite a big explosion, you better hold onto any runepowder barrels you come across, as they're way more powerful. While most players usually only come across one, it turns out that there are at least three discovered so far in the game.

As showcased by ThisTooWasAChoice on Reddit, not many players know that you can find two more runepowder barrels in the game. The first and most common one can be found in the Grym Forge next to Philomeen. Saving the Deep Gnomes, including that scoundrel Wulbren, in act two's Moonrise Towers will give you access to the other two barrels in act three.
