Pokemon Pocket's Next Expansion Will Be A Digital Version Of The Real TCG's "High Class" Tradition

Pokemon TCG Pocket's next booster pack has been officially revealed in Japan. Dubbed the High Class pack ex, the new booster will include reprinted cards from Pocket's first year, and even though each pack will only contain four cards instead of five, one of them is guaranteed to have a rarity of four diamonds or higher.

PokeBeach shared details about the upcoming set after the Japanese trailer for it was released, although curiously, the English version of the trailer is still nowhere to be seen. The new pack is called High Class because it follows a release tradition Pokemon practices in Japan. High Class booster packs include reprinted cards released during the prior 12 months, giving trainers the chance to catch up and fill gaps in their collections.

That's exactly what the Pocket version will be, although for some reason, the digital packs will include one card less, whereas physical High Class packs include one card more. Some of the reprints will feature new illustrations, so still a reason for those with near-complete collections to open packs, and there may even be some brand new cards to collect, although that isn't confirmed in the trailer.
