Deus Ex might never see another sequel, but at least the gaming industry hasn't completely forgotten it. At today's PlayStation State of Play, Eidos-Montreal announced Deus Ex Remastered, a return to the iconic original title.
Eidos-Montreal teased Deus Ex Remastered's fresh features, including enhanced visuals, overhauled controls, and haptic feedback. Whether these visuals look especially enhanced is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose - which isn't to say this looks bad, but I am surely going to be comparing it to the original Deus Ex at every turn.
Regardless, it's good to see a Deus Ex product of any kind when, of late, all we've had is wonderfully free unused DLC tracks.
