About a week ago, Polish portal PPE published a NOTAM about the impending release of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on Sony's flagship console, as reported here. After a week of rumors and whispers, the official announcement finally landed, as part of this year's Tokyo Game Show.
The announcement video does a good job showcasing the changes from the 2020 version of the game, especially the new career system that has added multiple mission types. In practice, this means you actually have tangible goals here, rather than flying around pretending it means anything.
