You like climbing mountains? I hope not — because this Peak update certainly doesn't. It much prefers more dignified tasks, like playing chess, and dunking on your Steam friends.
Peak's "Dillydally" mini-update offers more than a few touch-ups to the game's airport. Under no illusion about who this'll benefit most, the update's patch notes reads: "We thought we'd focus on some low scope ways to enhance the roleplay experience and kill some time in the airport while you're waiting on your friends to boot up and have 1000 people in chat to entertain."
Though even if you lack a stadium full of viewers to jingle keys in front of, it's more than possible to just enjoy the messing-around yourself.
Peak isn't the sort of game where everyone needs to line up and do the same task. Sometimes, you can just do some nonsense with your friends. Bounce around the ol' basketball. Hit 'em with the King's Indian Defense. You know, common things.
"There's a big ol' chess board now," the update reads. "Pieces will automatically lock in place after placing them down, so don't worry about a stray basketball ruining your 200 IQ setup."
