After 2 Years, Overwatch 2 Finally Gives Us Closure On Its Story

It's still a wonder how Blizzard fumbled Overwatch 2 so badly after the resounding success of the first game. Most of it has to do with not delivering on promises and features, especially the controversial PvE mode. The way it was handled by Blizzard left fans disappointed, especially those that wanted to know more about the world.

Firstly, the campaign missions didn't launch with the game, after which they were officially cancelled. The ensuing backlash forced the devs to put out one round of missions, which ended on a cliffhanger, with no word on when or if we'll see more of them. After two years, we finally have closure on the story, as a new digital comic has continued the story.

As pointed out by Kotaku, the recently launched Overwatch digital comic, aptly named Reconciliation, features Ramattra front and centre. It features Widowmaker and Sombra delivering Zenyatta to Ramattra for a dialogue over the state of the world. While both of them are Omnic, the latter is the leader of the Null Sector and doesn't agree with the way the synthetic beings are being treated.
