While we all love Shadowheart, Karlach, Astarion, and Gale, we must admit that there are some Baldur's Gate 3 companions we really don't care about. Be it Halsin, Jaheira, Minthara, or Wyll, most of us wouldn't even flinch if something happened to them. Especially Wyll. Not many of us really care for his storyline, and those that did, didn't get much out of it.

However, if you really want the best outcome for Wyll, it turns out there's a way to free him from Mizora without getting him the horns or hurting Karlach. I'm not sure why anyone would care for him so much, but it's a nice alternate outcome for your next playthrough, if you've managed to see everything well.

As revealed by Redditor HellaStronk, you can kill the cambion in act one without any consequences like Wyll being sent to hell or even getting horns. As a bonus, you don't even need to kill Karlach, which is probably the most important objective of this method. They explained that this was entirely possible on an unmodded version of the game.
