Forza Horizon 6 Is Finally Going To Japan After Years Of Begging

It's now been four years since the release of Forza Horizon 5, which means we're long overdue for another trip to the Horizon festival.

Xbox's open-world racing series has carved out a niche for itself, surpassing the traditional Forza Motorsport series in terms of quality and popularity. It's a sentiment that continued following the disappointing reception of the 2023 reboot of the Forza Motorsport franchise from Turn 10.

Speaking of reboots, Forza Horizon developer Playground Games has been hard at work on the Fable reboot. The Xbox action RPG was initially slated to release in 2025, but was pushed back to 2026 earlier this year.

While they're still hard at work on the Fable reboot, it turns out that they have something else up their sleeves. There are already two major Xbox franchises slated to release in 2026: Fable and Gears of War E-Day. Now, a third will be joining them: Forza Horizon.
