Borderlands 4's Latest Update Is Hefty, But Finally Adds An FOV Slider For Console Players

The latest hefty update for Borderlands 4 has just dropped, and it finally adds a field of view slider for anyone playing on PlayStation or Xbox.

Although most seem to agree that Borderlands 4 is one of the best games in the series, it's fair to say that it launched in a pretty rough state. PC players arguably had it the worst with a litany of performance issues and crashes, but console players also had plenty to complain about thanks to the strange lack of an FOV slider.

As annoying as Borderlands 4's rough state at launch was, Gearbox has been steadily working at improving the game with patches and updates, and even confirmed that an FOV slider was being "explored" for console users. Well, that exploration seems to have gone successfully, as it's just been added.

Over on Twitter, the official Borderlands account announced that the game's latest update had just gone live on PC and console. The update is pretty hefty at 11GB, but it seems to be well worth it, especially for console players.
