Not all of us are built for the breakneck pace of Cold War operations, but Bohemia Interactive certainly does not care. In a good way, that is. We kicked off the week by learning that ARMA Reforger is finally getting a single-player campaign, and we were even treated to playthrough videos. Now, we haven't even hit Friday and the whole thing is already playable... unless you're on the PlayStation 5, that is.
The Operation Omega campaign is now available as part of update 1.6.0.26, which has been released on the game's experimental branch today. Naturally, the update also brings assets that are used by the campaign, including the Kolgujev island map.
As with all good things in ARMA, the PS5 cadre will have to wait a little longer to get in on the fun. Patch 1.6.0.26 has been released on the Experimental branch of the game, which is currently only available to PC and Xbox Series X|S players. Not all test releases make it to Microsoft's console, but the importance of the Kolgujev release likely motivated Bohemia to put it through the paces on Xbox.
