As the prophecy foretold, adult mods have arrived for Hollow Knight: Silksong. There was speculation this might happen when Hornet was first depicted without her cloak, and now those dark predictions have become reality.
Thank you to Rock Paper Shotgun for their regular perusal of the Hollow Knight: Silksong adult mods section on Nexus. They accurately report that the section tripled in size from one mod to three mods overnight.
One of these new additions is "Curvier Hornet" by Sandinsoda with the very apt description, "everyday we stray further from god." The images show off a cloakless Hornet with more pronounced proportions, complete with the caption "I'm silkin' it." I can only assume this is late-stage Silksanity manifesting in the mod author despite the widespread proliferation of a vaccine.
Another similar mod called "Curvy Naked Hornet" by Foureye5 was released shortly after. This one is very similar, but the author adopts a more no-nonsense tone. "A mod that replaces cloakless Hornet sprites with something a little bit more curvy," reads the description.
There's already tension in the budding community, however. Sandinsoda entered the comment section of Foureye5's mod, writing "I wonder what prompted this," dripping with sarcasm...
