After a while of early access, Hades 2 has finally arrived in its full release, and once again, Supergiant Games has managed to completely steal the spotlight in the gaming scenario.
It has been only a couple of days, but the highly anticipated sequel is already earning widespread praise and extremely positive reviews from the top critics around the world.
And, just like its predecessor did five years ago, Supergiant Games’ latest roguelike is entering conversations for the “Game of the Year” coveted prize and positioning itself alongside some other heavyweights of 2025, such as Hollow Knight: Silksong and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

On OpenCritic, Hades 2 currently boasts an impressive 92 average score based on 56 critic reviews at the time of this article’s publication, making it one of the highest-rated titles of the year so far.
