If you're a fan of horror games, then you're likely either already playing Silent Hill f or have plans to play the title. The recently released title almost hit the high bar set by last year's Silent Hill 2 Remake, and was awarded a 4.5/5 by TheGamer's Jade King in their review. Either way, it sounds like a fun, albeit scary time.
That said, it looks like Konami will be popping the fun bubble in the coming days. The studio revealed on Twitter that it had mistakenly given "Bonus" and "Pre-order" content to players on Steam that weren't eligible, and that a patch was on its way "soon."
As GamesRadar noted, the "bonuses" aren't particularly noteworthy or game-changing by any means. An outfit, accessory and item pack, or a digital artbook aren't some expensive must-take-away bonuses.
Naturally, fans in the comment section made it clear that they'd rather Konami work on fixing the game than worry about some free costumes. "I feel like y'all should focus on releasing patches," one gamer wrote in response, while others asked Konami to let it pass.
When or if the patch is ultimately released, it wouldn't be the first time...
