While Grand Theft Auto stands as arguably Rockstar Games' most important and popular franchise, there's a certain subset of fans who would gladly argue that Rockstar's best is actually Bully. It's a valid point that's only gotten stronger as the years have gone on without a sequel.

So why exactly didn't Bully 2 happen? Well, let Dan Houser, the co-founder of Rockstar, explain why another Bully game was never ultimately released.

In a fascinating interview with IGN, Houser chalked up the lack of Bully 2 to "bandwidth issues." Specifically, Houser noted that, "If you’ve got a small lead creative team and a small senior leadership crew you just can’t do all the projects you want."

Sure, it might be a tad bit of a corporate answer and not particularly "juicy," but it does give some insight into just how tight a ship Rockstar ultimately operates.
