Even though Borderlands 4 was just released 15 days ago, that hasn't stopped Gearbox Software from revealing its first of two planned new Vault Hunters for the recently released looter shooter. During a panel at this year's Tokyo Game Show, Randy Pitchford and co. revealed C4SH, the first Vault Hunter that will launch in the early part of 2026, alongside new story content.
C4SH is described as a former dealer bot at a casino who has quit his day job to become a Vault Hunter after seeing players have their fortunes made good or bad via luck. It sounds a lot like FL4K's backstory of finding free will, though it's unclear if there's any relation.
As described by Pitchford himself, C4SH uses "his understanding of chance and probability to make the outcomes random." Specifically, he'll have access to playing cards and dice, and is based all around luck — becoming powerful with good luck or weak via bad luck.
