Square Enix Still Won't Tell Us FF7 Remake Part 3's Subtitle, But Fans Are Placing Their Bets

It's official: Naoki Hamaguchi and the rest of the FF7 Remake series dev gang have decided on a real title for the multiplatform-bound game that many of us are calling 'Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3' until further notice. That's exciting news. They've landed on a one-word theme of sorts for the game, as well - which is something that was done to help steer creative decisions during development on Remake and Rebirth.

Of course, they haven't shared the real title with the rest of us. Not just yet. I'm sure the timing for that has been chosen internally, but until then, we're all left guessing to our heart's content. We've got more on Hamaguchi's teasing, plus a bevy of bets from diehard Final Fantasy fans hoping to quote themselves in the future and cash in on claims that they're some kind of legendary prophet from the future. Or whatever.

If Naoki Hamaguchi were forced to remake another classic Final Fantasy once the long-running FF7 Remake project is behind him, he'd settle on the excellent Final Fantasy 6. With relatively robust sales now for the slow-starting FF7 Rebirth, Square Enix might one day take him up on...
