The Borderlands series is about one thing and one thing alone – guns. How many times have we heard Randy Pitchford announce that there are billions of guns in one of the upcoming entries? Borderlands 4 is no different. While the quantity of guns is through the roof, very few of them have any quality.
That's just Borderlands in a nutshell. The aim of the game isn't to kill Psychoes or uncover vaults, it's to find or farm the best possible guns in the game. However, if you can't be bothered to put in the effort, you can always buy these guns. Not from the in-game vending machines, but from a seller on Ebay. Plus, you can get it modded to your liking.
While it's definitely not as bad as scalpers selling collectibles for inflated prices, these modders offer you some of the game's best weapons, customised to become the best possible versions of themselves. Meaning, you won't find these guns in the game at all. In my opinion, it kind of defeats the purpose of playing a Borderlands game if you already have a gun that's better than any possible in-game item.
